These " Horus" Mirage V were recently upgraded by Egypt.
These upgrades include RC400 radar, HMD, mission pods, MAWS & night strike capability.
These aircrafts have much remaining life of airframe and it is a better option for deep strike against enemy due to less RCS and bigger range. RC400 radar sight make this aircraft suitable for air war too... This Radar can scan fighter size air objects from 100+ Km.
Upgraded aircraft have some capabilities like Mirage-2000 aircraft which is under service in Egyptian Air force.
The Dassault Mirage 5 is a supersonic attack aircraft designed in France by Dassault Aviation during the 1960s and manufactured in France and a number of other countries. It was derived from Dassault's popular Mirage III fighter and spawned several variants of its own, including the IAI Kfir.
